Terms of Service
Effective August 19, 2026
These terms govern use of SnapQuote. By using the service, you agree to them. If you use SnapQuote for a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that business.
What SnapQuote does
SnapQuote is a chat-based quoting tool. A contractor describes a job, answers follow-up questions, and receives an itemized quote document using information and prices the contractor provides. SnapQuote may host that quote at a unique link so the contractor can send it to a homeowner.
The contractor is responsible for the quote
SnapQuote organizes and delivers information. It does not set prices, inspect job sites, verify measurements, choose materials, or perform construction work. The contractor is responsible for reviewing every quote before sending it and for the accuracy of its scope, pricing, taxes, terms, licensing information, and other details. Any agreement for work is between the contractor and homeowner, not SnapQuote.
Using the service
You must provide accurate information, use the service lawfully, and have permission to provide another person's contact or job information. You may not use SnapQuote to mislead people, send unlawful or unwanted messages, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or distribute harmful material. Keep unique quote links private and share them only with people who should see the quote.
Information, messages, and sharing
Contractors and homeowners retain their rights in the information they provide. You allow SnapQuote to process that information as needed to operate, secure, and support the service. Job details, contact information, messages, and quote documents are shared only as needed between the homeowner and their contractor, plus service providers that operate the service for us. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
SMS and text messaging
SnapQuote sends text messages only in response to contact initiated by the user, including a reply by SMS after a missed phone call when that service is available. By initiating contact and asking for a response, you consent to receive messages related to that request. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to end text messages. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@snapquote.cloud. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Availability and changes
We work to keep SnapQuote reliable, but the service is provided as available and may sometimes be interrupted. We may change or discontinue parts of the service. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risk, legal requirements, or nonpayment under a separate agreement.
Data retention and account closure
We retain job, quote, contact, and message records while needed to operate the service and maintain reasonable business records. If service ends, you may request deletion by contacting us. We may retain limited information where required by law or reasonably needed for security, disputes, or enforcement of these terms.
Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by law, SnapQuote is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular job. SnapQuote is not responsible for construction work, contractor performance, homeowner decisions, or losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by a user. To the extent permitted by law, SnapQuote will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above will show the latest revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
