Privacy Policy

SnapQuote helps contractors prepare and deliver itemized quotes. This policy explains what information we handle and what we do with it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Information we collect

We collect information that contractors and homeowners provide when they use or communicate with SnapQuote. This may include:

• Names, phone numbers, email addresses, and service addresses.
• Job descriptions, measurements, materials, prices, notes, and other quote details.
• Messages sent through chat, text message, email, or another supported channel.
• Basic technical records needed to operate and secure the service, such as access times, IP addresses, browser type, and delivery records.

How we use information

We use this information to ask job-related follow-up questions, prepare itemized quote documents using the contractor's numbers, deliver and host those documents, respond to support requests, maintain security, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not use homeowner information to market unrelated services.

Quote links and data sharing

A contractor may create a quote for a homeowner and share it through a unique hosted link. Anyone with that link may be able to view the quote, so recipients should not post or forward it publicly.

Job and contact information is shared only as needed between the homeowner and the contractor working with that homeowner. We also use service providers that help us host, store, secure, and deliver the service. They may process information only to perform those services for us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect people, rights, and the security of the service.

SMS and text messages

We send text messages only in response to contact or a request initiated by the user. This may include replying by SMS after a user calls and the call is missed. By contacting us by phone or text and asking us to respond, you consent to receive messages related to that request. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end text messages and HELP for help. You may also contact us at hello@snapquote.cloud. Mobile information and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Data retention

We keep account, job, quote, and message information while it is needed to provide the service and maintain a useful business record for the contractor. We may keep limited records longer when required for security, disputes, taxes, or law. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details. You may ask us to delete information, but we may need to confirm your identity and may retain records we are legally required to keep.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you by emailing us. You can stop SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Because a contractor controls the business records in a quote, we may direct some requests to that contractor.

Security and changes

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will show the latest revision.
